Rishabh Pant injured in sevier car accident

Indian Wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant met with an accident near Uttarakhand’s Roorkee early on Friday morning and suffered injuries after his car crashed into road dividers and later caught fire. Pant, who is reportedly out of danger, was on his way to his hometown Roorkee from Delhi when the accident occurred.

"Rishabh has two cuts on his forehead, a ligament tear in his right knee and has also hurt his right wrist, ankle, toe and has suffered abrasion injuries on his back," the BCCI said in a statement. "Rishabh's condition remains stable, and he has now been shifted to Max Hospital, Dehradun, where he will undergo MRI scans to ascertain the extent of his injuries and formulate his further course of treatment."

According to police, the star wicketkeeper batsman of Indian cricket team, was alone in the car when his Mercedes GLE car hit the divider railings on the Delhi-Haridwar highway at around 5.30am. The car then turned a few times before turning into a ball of fire
