Former India opener and now commentator Sunil Gavaskar has criticised the Australian culture of winning at all costs. He also went on to allege that the team players tend to cross the line between cheating and gamesmanship for the same.

“Their attitude over the years has been most different from other teams where they look to win at all cost. There is a fine line between breaking the rule and bending the rule. And their review told the world that their administrators did nothing about it,” Gavaskar was quoted as telling India Today.

Australian cricket was rocked earlier this year when Steve Smith and David Warner were banned for ball tampering. Also, Michael Clarke recently stated that Australia wouldn’t win a game without their abrasive attitude.

“They tend to break the fine line between cheating and gamesmanship. They tell us we will not cross the line but what their line is no one knows. It’s like our line of control,” Gavaskar went on to say in the India Today report.

Having drawn the T20s series, India and Australia will kick off the Tests with the first one at Adelaide on December 6.
