Zimbabwe had won the toss and elected to bat first in what was the second match between the sides. The hosts came up with a slightly below par total of 149 for 8. Once again opener Hamilton Masakadza showed good form scoring 56 but took 54 balls for that while striking 5 fours and a six. Skipper Brendan Taylor chipped in with a cameo of 27 from 13 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes. However, the rest of the Zimbabwean batsmen couldn’t get going against a tight Bangladeshi attack.
