| George Bailey: The usual supects did it with the bat. It was a great powerplay from Viru and Mandeep. Then it was the M and M show. I cant speak enough of the young Indian players as well. Sandeep has been fantstic, he swings the ball and hits a lovely length. Shivam Sharma also bowled beautiflly under pressure. Akshar has been really good throughout the tournament. It was tentative about playing two spinners. It was Sanjay's idea. | |
| Virat Kohli: We didn't play as a unit and it's something that has happened for us in the last few games. Things didn't go our way today and hopefully we can turn it around quickly. If you lose too many wickets up front it becomes very difficult. It might be a good thing for us (when Ravi Shastri said that his team should now treat every game as a knock out game). No room for complacency, it might be a blessing in disguise for us but we need to pull up the socks, We need to take more responsibility as a batting unit, we know what our batsmen can do |
