Defending champions Mumbai Indians, who have confirmed their play-offs berth will be keen to continue their impressive run when they face Delhi Capitals in match number 51 of IPL 2020 at Dubai on Saturday, the first game of the double-header. While Mumbai will go into the match high on confidence, Delhi have a few headaches to deal with as they are on a three-match losing streak. They purple patch during the first half of IPL 2020 now seems like distant memory.

Delhi's three defeats have come against Kings XI Punjab, Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad. They are still stuck on 14 points from 12 games, and need to with both their remaining contests for being assured of a finish in the top four.

Both their batting and bowling have let the team down in the last few games. Shikhar Dhawan's twin hundreds have been followed by two failures so he would be desperate to be back among the runs. Further, Ajinkya Rahane has failed to play a single innings of note while skipper Shreyas Iyer, Marcus Stoinis and Shimron Hetmyer have been highly inconsistent.

Delhi's strength has been their bowling. However, Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje have been a bit off the boil in the last couple of games while Tushar Deshpande and Ravichandran Ashwin have struggled for consistency. DC need to get their act together for their next two matches are against MI and RCB.

Bowling wise, Jasprit Bumrah and Trent Boult have terrific with 20 and 17 wickets respectively. James Pattinson has provided worthy back-up while Rahul Chahar has also excelled taking 14 wickets with his leg spin.

Head-to-Head Record: In 25 matches, Mumbai lead Delhi 13-12, with a win in their previous encounter putting them ahead.

DC Predicted XI: Ajinkya Rahane, Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer(c), Rishabh Pant(w), Shimron Hetmyer, Marcus Stoinis, Axar Patel, Ravichandran Ashwin, Kagiso Rabada, Anrich Nortje, Tushar Deshpande
